My kitchen is cream high gloss, I am replacing the handles from chrome to matt copper. My worktop is wood and I have just bought a black and cooper toaster and kettle. Advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Clare, thanks for your comment. Glad you enjoyed the post! Yes, it is Hicks Blue, however the colour looks different in our photos, to how it looks in the flesh, because we use lighting equipment for the photography and images are brightened/edited, so that the products (in this case, the Copper Coasters) look the right colour, which can change the colour of the paint too. The best thing to do would be to buy a sample pot and test it in your room; the lighting varies in one room greatly, even just at different times of the day. So do have a look at it with sunlight in the morning, versus solely artificial light in the evening, to check you like the colour at all times.

Computer monitors do also change the colours slightly, so it’s always best to check colours on your wall. I hope that helps 🙂
