Beautiful autumn dahlias and chrysanthemums- styled by MiaFleur

As I have been told by my girls that I am to start helping with the Instagram photos it seemed the ideal opportunity to glory in this wonderful Indian summer we are experiencing. As we take the long slow slide into winter I thought I better make the most of my dahlias and chrysanths. They are glorious and look so beautiful in the autumn sunshine that I had to bring a few inside to photograph.

The Easiest and Cheapest Home Accessory, EVER….?!

There is quite a trend going on for decorative accessories (usually in gold) of various creatures and insects so we thought it would be fun to have a go at spray painting some children’s plastic toys to get the same effect at a fraction of the price. Urban Jungle Bloggers is a monthly series hosted by Igor and Judith to encourage us all to bring a little more green into our lives. Each month they, plus many bloggers worldwide, share ideas to create an urban jungle through styling ideas, DIYs and green tips & tricks. Marble has always been with us and, as its part of my family heritage, I have quite a few small decorative pieces but it’s now resurfacing as the hot new trend to be used on all surfaces, and in any room in the house from beautiful, but austere, bathrooms clad entirely in marble, to lighting and accessories. Whatever your budget there is plenty of scope for joining the marble trend.

Steal

Here’s the easy, and cheap way, to bring the marble trend into your décor – accessories. With increased technology marble effects can be applied to any surface realistically and cheaply. A melamine marble effect tray, not only for carrying your cuppa to the armchair but to use for styling vignettes. We love this tray for its simplicity and practicality.

Exciting news at Audenza HQ… we’ve been nominated for an Amara Interior Blog Award in the ‘Best Organisation’ category! So, obviously we’d love you to vote for us just ’cause you love our blog, but the fact that a holiday on the Amalfi Coast is also up for grabs makes it pretty tempting, no? And to make the deal even sweeter, we’re also offering a £50 voucher.

This year, the competition is seriously tough though, there’s some very big companies and brands in our category and we need all the help we can get to have a hope of getting shortlisted. This, of course is where you guys come in!
