A fun spider monkey monochrome cushion to update your living room or bedroom décor. The spider monkey illustration has been intricately drawn and screen printed by hand using only water-based inks, which provide excellent colour, durability and a low environmental impact.
“I love cushions – the more the merrier for me! All over settees and armchairs, of course, but also propped up on hard chairs, and they are a great way to change the look of a room for a relatively low cost. The monkey cushion does it for me because it’s cheeky and cute, and I like to support small designer makers. I’ve met the lady who designed the monkey cushion so it feels even more personal.”

How dashing is this gold decorative dachshund dog (or sausage dog if you prefer)? We certainly think so. Regal and haughty, but with an appealing wistfulness, this decorative dachshund is the perfect way to bring some humour to your décor.
These fornasetti style face plates deserve a place on our list of top 10 cool homewares, don’t you think? I mean, how fun are they! In the whimsical style of the Italian decorative arts company Fornasetti, these striking and timeless plates are perfect to bring out on special occasions, or why not hang them on your wall for a decorative display.
The ‘flowers not war’ gun vase will certainly attract some attention, which is why it’s made it onto our top 10 list of seriously cool homewares. It’s most definitely statement enough on its own but adding a stem or two of vibrant blooms will only accentuate the lavish gun design. Display on your mantelpiece or side table for something a little more fun and unusual.
Looking for some vibrant wall art? The Frida Kahlo print is the most beautiful hit of rich jewel colours that will enhance any blank wall. Queen of kitsch and maximalism Frida Kahlo was famed for her iconic self-portraits and love of florals and clashing colours and this print in the style of her self-portraits.
“Frida Kahlo is something of a hero of mine. Whilst I adore her fabulous use of colour and pattern in her wardrobe and her paintings, what really shines through for me is her spirit. Frida rejected traditional beliefs and had a progressive attitude towards gender, sexuality, culture, race and diversity. She was also an activist, being among one of the first women (as far as I am aware) to use fashion as means of fighting for gender equality. Just like the Suffragettes, Frida was one of many (or indeed one of few) women who had the courage to be among the first to truly fight for gender equality. Women like Frida paved the way for the lives we lead now. For me, hanging this print, is the perfect way to remind myself to always stand up for what I believe in.”

For a touch of quirkiness, the skull decanter will certainly make a fab addition to your drinks trolley or sideboard. Or why not mix things up by replacing your favourite tipple and using this skull decanter as a kooky vase by adding a few fresh blooms for a unique accessory.
Everyone has that one favourite mug, right? The dashing gent fine china mug and fruit lady fine china mug make the perfect his and hers accessories. With their quirky designs, these beautifully illustrated mugs are made in Staffordshire in the time-honoured tradition of English potters.
“I have (very nearly!) just purchased my first house with my boyfriend, so of course I will be treating myself to a little moving in gift and these mugs will very soon be adorning my kitchen shelf! I absolutely love them as they are perfect for a couple with the ‘his & hers’ theme, which can sometimes look a bit tacky, but not these beauties, with their fun and quirky monochrome designs.”
